Subject Xi

Description

Subject Xi is our fourteenth attempt at creating an animal adapted for taking down the mutants, and perhaps our most successful. Unfortunately, Xi is too aggressive to be used in any but the least dire of situations, as it will turn on our own troops. This makes Xi the preferred method of going after high-risk targets such as Rayls, but less than ideal for hunting less dangerous mutants, such as Reina. Xi's eyelids are transparent, allowing it to notice rapid movement while sleeping (despite appearance, the subject pictured is asleep. While he was able to finish the sketch, the artist was severely wounded upon exiting the chamber).

Unfortunately, Sokolov refuses to elaborate on his methods of creating Xi. It is, however, theorised that Xi is wholly synthetic, as we know Sokolov is capable of such things.

Body: 10 m
Tail: 5 m
Weight: 18 tonnes
Fucking Mutants Up: Priceless

I would like to thank :iconvelveteen-soldier: for the inspiration. As she told me what her unique species, the Royals/Reds, was like, I started to sketch my interpretation. They were so insanely different that she allowed me to keep my interpretation, and thus, Subject Xi was born. Psst, click on the link. Seriously, she draws some really awesome stuff, guys. And hers have some weird invention called colour in them. I don't know how it works, but maybe I shall someday use it as well.
