Subject Nu

Subject Nu is, as is visually apparent, forged from genetics of tree frog and toad species. It secretes an adherent from its toe pads, and uses them to stick to surfaces. It positions itself opposite its prey, with a barrier such as a sewer grate. It will then pull a limb of its prey through with its tongue, then enter its dormant state until the prey cools significantly, indicating death from starvation, thirst, etc. It usually only attacks prey its own size or slightly larger (up to and including a beagle), but will attack humanoids when it senses the X54 pheromone.
